Magic Warrior in Another World - Chapter 1
The first thing I saw was a silver candelabra.
I shifted my eyes a little and saw that it was placed at the end of an altar covered with a red cloth.
The altar was solemn, like a priest preaching in a church, with a large statue of a goddess installed behind it.
Looking around, the place resembled a temple in a fantasy world.
Candelabras were set up on the walls and pillars, and the candles were glowing pale and flickering.
I thought it was a lonely place with only an altar and round stone pillars, even though it was a large room.
I looked up toward the ceiling, which was a folded ceiling raised one step along the center aisle toward the altar.
There was no stained-glass, and only the glow of the candles stood out.
Considering the size and layout of the room, it seemed that there were originally couches for people who came to listen to the sermon.
Finally, I realized that I was standing in front of an altar that was several steps higher than the surrounding area.
But my head was a blur, as if a haze had settled over it.
I was startled suddenly to hear a voice from behind me, but I turned around fearfully.
A girl was standing nearby, at the bottom of the stairs.
She had no expression on her face, but her eyes were full of anticipation, as if she had finally met me.
Her silver hair was slightly bluish and fell to her shoulders.
A slender girl with a curvy figure was looking at me with clear emerald eyes.
Unlike the fantasy-like clothing around her, she was dressed in a sleeveless dress similar to a modern cocktail dress and a skirt about knee-length.
She wore a silver pendant on her chest.
Her skin was fair, but she was beautiful beyond belief.
Even to a woman like me, I think she was beautiful. A beautiful woman.
Everything stood out right where it should. As a smaller-than-average (self-proclaimed) person, I was envious. I wouldn’t say which part.
When her eyes met mine, and she smiled at me, my initial impression of her as a beautiful woman changed drastically, and her cuteness was on full display.
How cute was she?
I was so charmed by the way she changed her impression with a single facial expression.
I thought to myself, “I’ve seen this face somewhere before”.
Yes, she looked like my main character that I created in Seven Clover.
I had been using this character for two years, almost every day except for trips and before exams. How could I not be reminded of it?
And how could I not think of the beautiful visage of my own creation?
I thought to myself, “Oh, so this is just a dream”, and I convinced.
Even though I had been studying hard for the exam right until the last minute, how much did I want to play the game?
Perhaps because I was thinking, she looked a little troubled and mumbled something to me.
Then, the hazy feeling in my head grew, and I started to feel sleepy. I was very sleepy, even though I was in a dream that I was supposed to be sleeping and watching.
But I wouldn’t normally get a chance to talk to my character, even if it was in a dream. I want to chat with her!
“Don’t go against that feeling.”
Eh, I thought, wouldn’t it be nice to have a little chat, but even as I tried to shake off the drowsiness and clear my senses, my consciousness kept slipping further and further away.
She was trying to talk to me, but I could barely understand what she was saying.
She looked like she was about to cry as she said something to me, but I could barely hear anything.
She gently moved closer to me. What a waste of a beautiful face. I want to ask her not to cry, but I could not even speak.
I wanted to remember this dream, but my consciousness was cut off at the end of it.
All I knew was that she held me in her arms as I collapsed.
