Several Years have passed since I came here. Now, I’m 3 years old. I have completely adapted with the fairy way of life and I have gotten familiar with almost every residents faces.

Because of that, I have not gone outside even once since it happened. I also told Norn-san that I was really lucky to not encounter any demons outside. In fact, it was a really dangerous place that I would’ve had to have the protagonist like luck to be able to survive. It was only a coincidence that Arena wandered into that place and saved me. 

So in order to be able to fight against the monsters outside, I told myself that it would be perfect for me to acquire the『Humanization』skill. And as a result, I had finally achieved that goal.

It took me three years to get that far…

The status values on the board also rose slightly. I hoped that my efforts will show up in numerical values. I worked hard until the swordsmanship skill and, Four attribute magic were learned. Four attribute magic was possible because Testania-san taught me the basics of chanting.

Regarding 『Humanization』, it was used far more than 『Fairy Magic』. I learned it in the first year, but it took me two years to raise it to acceptable levels. 

In the case of language, I am now able to write a majority of used words and their meanings, and could hold daily conversation level sentences. It was a bit hard for me because the shape of letters differ greatly from what the humans use, It was the result of Testania-san’s education.

Anyway, this ends the first phase of travel preparations, the second stage will start today, and that is raising levels.

「Are you really sure you want to go with us Arena? Don’t you know it’s very dangerous?」

「Want to go~」

Because I hadn’t gone outside for several years, I had a misunderstanding that if I went outside the boundary surrounding the Fairy Village I would immediately get lost. So, I thought of going out with Norn-san who’d guide me around, when Arena raised her hand to join.

I already told her to wait here because it’s very dangerous, but Arena doesn’t listen to anything I say and won’t let go of my hand. By the way, I have never been away from Arena in these three years. 

「Well, I’m really happy about that but I don’t want Arena to be in any danger」

「Yada!!」

「Why are you being this stubborn?」

「now, now… I will be watching over Arena so just let it slide」

Norn-san who was coming with me  arrived, and I reluctantly agreed to it. Arena showed a really bright smile and hugged me. She can’t help her cuteness, but I will definitely protect her even if I end up dead.

The moment the three of us went outside, in just a few steps Norn-san   detected signs of a demon. Even with skills, it would need a lot of time and effort for a person to be able to feel such a presence.

「There seems to be several presences nearby, let’s quietly get closer」

Because fairies don’t give out sounds when they are flying, they’re great at covert actions. The three people erased as much noise as possible and went to look at the figures of the demons. Two of them seem to be eating another monster. I saw those from a book. I checked the demon with 『Fairy Eyes』 as soon as possible.

It looks really weak, its height is below the shoulder height of an adult human male. As I have learned, Goblins are supposed to be short lived demons, whom are easily killed by other demons. However, it’s difficult to fight them if there is more than one of them. Amateurs would  struggle with just a pair of them. There are a lot of them in terms of numbers, and it is said they are so numerous they can easily send lots of reinforcements to each other which they do via calling.

In other words, you must eliminate them immediately upon encounter.

After checking them for a while, Norn-san and I quietly approached them and from behind them activated 『Fairy Magic』. The image was of two Spears of Wind. Keeping  the sharpness in mind… I shoot!

「Giii!!!」

「Giguu!!!」

I easily assassinated the goblins. It feels like I’m an Assassin Mage.

「Congratulations on your first victory. Goblins are weak when they’re alone, but they are troublesome if they are in a group. You did well」

「That battle was a surprise attack, It’s good that the first fight was like that」

「Aidle is Strong~」

『tada♪』

「Nn?」

「What’s wrong? Did you hear the sound of leveling up?」

「Ohh…So it sounds like this when I level up? I sounds really like a game, seriously」

Well since there’s the status function, it doesn’t seem to be strange. I guess this is just how this world is. I wonder if it has anything to do with gods playing around like in my previous world. For my new life, it feels like it will be easy mode.

「Let’s not waste a moment, why not check it now?」

「I’ll do so」

I just wonder just how much increase on my status the Correction value will affect.

This growth… Isn’t this a little too much? Eh, this is scary. even if we say it doubled up because of awakening’s effect, the growth rate is really weird. I mean 900 MAK in just one level up. Will it continue to rise like this even in the future? My MP has also increased tremendously.

「Is there something wrong?」

「There isn’t really a problem but, It’s just strange, because my MAK already surpassed Norn-san just reaching by level 2」

「Eh seriously!?」

Norn-san also showed a startled expression. oh the expression returned. Going beyond the status of a level 100 person of course anyone would be surprised. I’m having a really complicated feeling.

「Nn, nnn… I see, as expected, A person who has awakened really has the potential to become strong. If that is so let’s continue raising the level while hunting stronger monsters. because it is much better to become strong once you begin your journey」

I am grateful for Norn-san’s suggestion and acceptance without feeling peculiarity at my growth rate.

「Aidle, Do you want to become the strongest?」

「I do!!」

We gradually increased the grade of demons we encountered. from horned wolf, to orc, to treant, to blow serpents, to elder golems, to tyrant worms, to wyverns, to King Races, and finally Dragons and other strong demons. In this forest and grasslands, why are there so many variations of demons around?

「This place is called the Hellish Place by the humans, there are demons here that even the Queen and I can’t fight. Even those defeated by Aidle like Tyrant Worms and Wyverns normally would be undefeatable without 『Fairy Magic 』.」

I also practiced fighting as a Human.  Norn-san can’t Humanize, so she couldn’t be a training partner for me in my Humanized state. I can only fight with demons and practice using magic that humans can use. This has really turned into a huge development for me.

Looking at my status might get them depressed.

The Iron sword I was using couldn’t handle my strength and broke. Because I can’t help it I just pummeled the wyvern’s body while avoiding hitting it’s hard scales.  Seeing me bathed in blood, Arena even asked me if I underwent a 「Fire Fairy Job Change!?」

「I think this should be enough strengthening, There won’t be any problems, but I didn’t expect to finish raising your level in just a day. We will proceed to the next stage earlier than expected. 」

「Understood.」

「What’re ya doing next?」

What to do next? That would be the acquisition of new skills. Two skills to be specific, 『Concealment』 and 『Adjustment 』. 『Concealment』 is to hide this cheat of a status, 『Adjustment』 is for holding back and controlling the excessive power.

It wouldn’t be funny if I unintentionally handshake someone only to burst their hand into flames.

「It was a pleasant miscalculation but then again it gives you more things to watch out for when going to the human realms」

「It’s alright I think, given that it will lessen my risks of dying, I don’t want to make Arena sad because of that」

「So that’s your reason…」

Or rather, I’ve been doing my best this three years with that as my driving force.
